Deliberately exposing intimate body parts to someone without their consent is a serious crime and never acceptable. Those convicted can face up to two years in prison and can become a registered sex offender.
What to do if it happens to you?
Look away and move away if you can. If the crime is in progress, report it to police by calling 999.
Try to report as much information as you can, including a description of the person, what they are wearing and the location. You can also report online via police.uk/report. Reporting quickly gives police the best chance at investigating. We know it can feel uncomfortable and daunting to report to the police, but we are here to protect you, and you will always be taken seriously. Your report could help us stop the same thing from happening to anyone else.
